Available in June, this newly built kitchen is part of a community center in an affordable housing community for adults with developmental disabilities.
Sunflower Hill Commercial Kitchen General information:
The Sunflower Hill kitchen area is approximately 34 feet long and 20 feet wide (680 square feet). The kitchen is divided into two sections separated by a low wall: one section is 19 feet long x 20 feet wide for cooking area; and the remaining section is 15 feet long x 20 feet wide for storage, refrigeration, and cleaning equipment for supporting the cooking area. There is open access between the two sections of the kitchen.
The cooking area will be equipped with a cooking griddle, oven/range, and convection oven. Wire shelving is provided for storing cooking items. There is a stainless steel dishwasher, icemaker, coffee brewer, and mixer in the cooking area. A work station island complete with sink and faucet is installed in the center of the cooking area.
The storage/refrigeration area will be equipped with a walk-in cooler and a space with a door for storing dried goods. There is a mobile matt dolly, mop sink with service faucet, wire shelving for storing the cleaning supplies.
There are two entries into the kitchen. Entry one is from the kitchen cooking area into the adjacent dining room. Entry two is from the kitchen storage to the exterior. This door will be used as egress and also for delivering supplies into the kitchen. The kitchen is equipped with a grease trap underground tank installed just outside of the kitchen in the driveway parking areas.
Lease negotiable. One tenant using the kitchen only who provides nutritional and healthy meals for the residents. Breakfast and dinner, 7 days a week.
