    Look no further, The BEACON Pilot Kitchen, a New Hill Project, our licensed commercial space with industry-grade equipment is the perfect place for food businesses to commercially prepare or handle food for sale or distribution.

    But that's not all, our pilot kitchen is just the beginning. We have big plans for BEACON Kitchens, a permanent, larger shared-use kitchen that will offer even more opportunities for culinary entrepreneurs like you. With 16 workstations, you'll have the flexibility to work alongside 15 other businesses at the same time. The kitchen will promote knowledge sharing, innovation and collaboration throughout the local food ecosystem. Stay tuned….

    Currently, our pilot kitchen comes with accommodation for 3 food businesses to work simultaneously. You'll have access to a main kitchen with two stations, each equipped with a prep table, a 36’ range, a convection natural gas oven, and more. We also have an additional separate side kitchen available for rental. And don't forget about our cozy seating area that can be reserved for events or pop-ups.

    Before you book, there are a few things you need to know, but don't worry, we want to make sure we can meet your specific needs, so a team member will reach out to discuss your kitchen needs and how we can support you at our initial onboarding call.

    We require all renters to provide a liability insurance policy with coverage of $1,000,000. This policy should also list the names of facility-required additionally insured entities.

    Now, let's talk pricing

    • Our hourly rate is $25 with a minimum 4-hour reservation.
    • If you're planning a pop-up event, we offer a package priced at $250 for the space plus the kitchen space rental.
    • For those who will be using our kitchen for 40+ hours per month, the hourly rate drops to $17, with a minimum payment of $700.
    • If you need 20 hours per month, the hourly rate is $23, with a minimum payment of $460.
    • And if you're an emerging food business entrepreneur who only needs 12 hours per month, the hourly rate is $25, with a minimum payment of $300.
