CommonWealth Kitchen is Greater Boston's only nonprofit food business incubator and urban food manufacturing social enterprise. We believe that a resilient, equitable economy requires closing Greater Boston's growing wealth divide by promoting inclusive entrepreneurship and creating jobs for people impacted by racial, social, or economic inequality. We help entrepreneurs go from concept to successful, scaled business, with shared kitchen space and equipment, technical assistance, business training and advising, mentoring, contract production services, and connections to markets and sources of capital.

Pricing

Our standard rate is $35/hour for kitchen time, plus storage and membership fees.

We recommend that anyone who wants to join the kitchen attend one of our virtual info sessions and sign up for that or consider applying by visiting our website.

We recruit and work with cohorts of business owners who become members of our nonprofit incubator and shared kitchen twice annually and will consider onboarding additional businesses as members where space permits and mission aligns.
