Description

The Community Food Innovation Center (CFIC) located within the Monongalia County Center is a fully equipped commerical kitchen utilized by a variety of kitchen clients. We offer commissary services for local food trucks and other food entreprenuers. The CFIC provides dry storage, cooler storage, freezer storage, and kitchen use time to our clients. Starting up a new food business and not sure where to start? The CFIC can help! The CFIC works with each and every client to help their business clients succed. Hourly rates can vary and depend on the type/amount of equipment in operation, storage needs, frequency of use and also duration of contract length. Formal business license/certificate with the WV Secretary of State, insurance, and Monongalia County Health Department certifications required. Our facility operates on the 24 hour model and permits full time access for stock replenishment or pick-up. Kitchen use time is exclusive to each client. An in-person meeting and deposit is required in addition to all documents prior to kitchen occupation.
