Description

The EnVision Shared Use Kitchen is a space for local food entrepreneurs to operate and scale their business. The idea for a shared-use kitchen came from community recommendations to improve food entrepreneurship opportunities in the city. The EnVision Kitchen was built by the City of Tempe in 2025 and is operated and managed by the City of Tempe Sustainability & Resilience Division.

The hours that are bookable at the EnVision Kitchen are 6:00 AM- 10:00 PM daily.

Pricing

Mobile Food User- Limited
$100.00 per month, no bookable hours for food preparation
Ideal for food trucks that don’t need refrigeration, prep space, or greywater dumping. This plan includes:
- One shelf in dry OR cold storage
- Does not include access to greywater dumping, ice, dish pit, or dishwasher

Mobile Food User- Regular
$125.00 per month, with bookable hours
Ideal for food trucks or mobile food units that require prep space, greywater dumping and ice. This plan includes:
- One shelf in dry OR cold storage
- Access to water, ice, dish pit, dishwasher, and greywater dumping
- $20 per hour of kitchen booked time

Prep Space User
$125 per month, with bookable hours
Ideal membership for a food business that doesn’t require cooking any of the products that it produces and does not need to use any of the bookable kitchen equipment. The plan includes:
- One shelf in dry OR cold storage
- Access to the prep area, ice, dishwasher and electrical outlets
- Does not include access to kitchen equipment outside of the dishwasher
- $20 per hour of kitchen booked time

Full Kitchen User
$200 per month, with bookable hours
Ideal membership for a food business that requires cooking as part of its food preparation or needs to use one of the other bookable pieces of kitchen equipment such as the large mixers or the proofing/hot holding cabinet. The plan includes:
- One shelf in dry OR cold storage
- Access to all equipment in the kitchen
- $20 per hour of kitchen booked time
