Description

Our commercial kitchen is available for hourly, half day, and full day rentals! Friendship’s kitchen is a 330sqft commercial kitchen within Friendship Community Place. Because of this, you may see members of our community using other spaces at Friendship during your rental. Our kitchen is best suited for small teams or solo entrepreneurs. Our kitchen can only accommodate one rental at a time.

Because Friendship operates as a neighborhood hub throughout the week, you will see chunks of time that are unavailable to rent due to our programming. The kitchen is available 24/7 outside of our programming.

The following documentation is required from renters:
-A valid City of Chicago Food Service Sanitation Certificate
-Proof of liability insurance (minimum coverage of $1 million) with Friendship Community Place listed as additional insured
-A valid Shared Kitchen User license for your business (short or long term) from the City of Chicago

Pricing

Peak Hours: Mon - Sun from 6am - 10pm | $35/hr
Off-Peak Hours: Mon - Sun from 10pm - 6am | $22/hr
Rolling storage lockers are available to rent for $50/month and are available on a first come, first serve basis
Refrigerator shelf 2’: $20/month
Freezer shelf 2': $20/month
