In 2021 we renovated The Boomer House, a 129-year-old Victorian historic home in downtown Greeley that was built as the mayoral home of William M. Boomer 1889-1895. We installed a commercial kitchen and have our liquor license. We run public board game nights, private event rentals and have an AirBnB in the basement. Last year I had the kitchen open a few days a week, but we decided to close that in December. I welcome caterers, farmer's market/cottage food businesses, food trucks, etc. to use our kitchen. It is a small kitchen, but we do have refrigerator and freezer spaces, two prep areas and a commercial dishwasher, into addition to the requisite sinks. Hours are variable/flexible. And, given our children's events and AirBnB, I will ask for a background check (extra fee) in addition to copies of business license and insurance.
Pricing
Initially we have a setup fee of $100, background check fee of $50 per kitchen user and $25 deposit per key. After that, we charge a $150 monthly fee + $25 monthly Food Corridor Fee and this includes two hours of kitchen use, one dry and one refrigerator shelf space. After that, we have additional dry/refrigerated/freezer storage available, and optional oven to rent use of TurboChef Oven.
