Description

In 2021 we purchased and renovated The Boomer House, a Victorian historic home in downtown Greeley that was built as the mayoral home of William M. Boomer 1889-1895. We installed a commercial kitchen and have our liquor license. We run public board game nights, private event rentals and have an AirBnB in the basement. I welcome caterers, farmer's market/cottage food businesses, food trucks, etc. to use our kitchen. It is a small kitchen, but we do have refrigerator and freezer spaces, prep areas and a commercial dishwasher, into addition to the requisite sinks. Hours are 8am- 11pm daily. Cleaning required after use and we provide all the supplies. We use The Food Corridor for scheduling, and we have 4-6 clients at a time. Lastly, given our children's events and AirBnB, I do run a background check on all commissary users.

Pricing

Initially we have a setup fee of $100, which includes meeting with Amy, running a background check, making a folder with your documents and being available to meet with the health department for inspections. Required documents: food handlers certificate, sales tax/LLC info, business insurance and the Weld Commissary Agreement. After that, we start charging when you actually start, and will bill for you the month ahead for anticipated usage. Price: $150 monthly, which includes two hours of kitchen use, and then $25/hour after that. I round to the half-hour and bill based on actual usage, not scheduled. We max at $650/month, which is our unlimited hours option. We do provide one dry storage shelf and have additional refrigerated and freezer storage available.
