Description

Harvest Community Kitchen is located inside the Josephine County Farm Collective Food Hub. It's the perfect space for all those who are producing food, perfecting a recipe, or simply preparing for an event. Our kitchen has lots of working space with equipment needed for food processing if needed. This kitchen is specifically designed with the small farm or market gardener in mind with specific appliances for freeze drying, garlic peeling, and dehydrating, Let's preserve all your hard work, enjoy the nutritional value of locally grown foods, stretch your dollars with effective food preservation and reduce food waste. Please note: there is no oven on site. Maximum 10 persons allowed on site at one time.

Pricing

Kitchen Rental Fees & Billing
The kitchen users share the cost of the kitchen, including management and maintenance and utilities. Categories of use are broad to allow for changing business needs while also being fair to other users.

Rates based on hours of use during each month and apply to the JCFC Harvest Community Kitchen only.

Tier 1 0-10 hours per month or $200/month ($20/hr)
Tier 2 11-20 hours per month or $360/month ($18/hr)
Tier 3 21-30 hours per month or $510/month ($17/hr)
Tier 4 31-40 hours per month or $640/month ($16/hr)
Tier 5 40-50 hours per month or $750/month ($15/hr)

Miscellaneous fees:
Dry storage: $10/month per shelf (floor level)
Reach in Refrigeration: $10/month per shelf
Walk In Cooler - $20/month per shelf shelf (JCFC Kitchen site)
Walk In Cooler - $54/month per pallet (Medford warehouse site)
Freezer – $15/month per slot
Loft dry storage - $25 per half pallet space per month - light items only
Electrical Surcharge - $15-$20 per month per appliance plugged using constant energy

***Tenants must get approval from the manager before they take over any additional storage space or use any appliances.
