The Kitchen provides local food entrepreneurs with a place to process, preserve, and add value to their products, helping them start or expand an existing food business. We are proud to have offered a space that has catalyzed the growth of local food businesses, including Umami Bites, The Curry Pot, Woo Town Bagels, Boo Bears Coffee, and more!
The 2000 sq. ft. onsite facility houses the equipment and licensing needed to make food products for sale at the Local Roots Market, locally, or for distribution worldwide! We have access to a lot of commercial kitchen equipment, but are constantly adjusting based on the current needs of the renters.
Our partner organization, The Food Sphere, is knowledgeable and hands-on and can help support businesses at any stage. We look forward to working with you!
Prices start at $20/hour. Recurring reduced-rate plans are available above the 15-hour and 64-hour marks. Cold/Freezer storage and Dry storage shelves are also available.
