Located minutes from downtown Des Moines, the Mickle Center Kitchen is a newly renovated facility featuring brand new gas appliances. There are multiple convection and 6-burner gas stoves, cooler and freezer storage, 40-gallon tilt skillet, dough proofer/warmer as well as a 20-quart mixer and several smaller stand mixers.
The MC Kitchen welcomes food entrepreneurs of all backgrounds and talents. In addition, the Kitchen Manager is available for helping navigate the process of starting up a new food business and is hands-on to make sure the process runs smoothly.
The Kitchen rents for $10.00 - $20.00 per hour depending upon types of usage. It is open 24/7, but is a locked, secure facility. No public entry. In addition, there is a private parking lot that can accommodate up to 8 vehicles at a time.
