We primarily use our commercial kitchen for cooking classes, but are opening it up for rental by partners in our community. Anyone can apply to rent the kitchen: we have rates for non-profit ($20/hr), for-profit ($30/hr) or one-time events ($250 for 8 hrs within a 24 hr period). We are prioritizing partners with mission-aligned projects such as incubator farms or food businesses and long-term partnerships.
Our kitchen regularly fits 12 people for cooking classes and is equipped with a commercial range, dishwasher, and plenty of miscellaneous equipment like pasta makers and induction burners. Other equipment (like warming stations for catering) and use of our pantry items (spices, oil, flour, sugar, dry goods) can be negotiated in our rental agreement. Cold storage and freezer space is available only during the rental period. We have some flexibility with extra fridge space, but this would also be an extra fee negotiated in the rental agreement.
Non-profit entity: $20/hr
For-profit entity: $30/hr
One-time events: $250 for 8 hours within a 24-hour period
We are willing to negotiate our rates with community partners that rent long-term or align directly with our mission.
