RAIN Incubator Kitchen at Harvest Algoma
Managed by the Sault Ste. Marie Innovation Centre, the RAIN Incubator Kitchen is a fully equipped, health-inspected commercial kitchen designed to help food entrepreneurs, caterers, and startups grow their businesses. The facility features professional-grade equipment including convection ovens, a blast freezer, dehydrator, mixers, processors, slicers, vacuum sealer, packaging heat sealer, steam kettle, and tilt skillet.
Users also have access to extensive dry, cold, and freezer storage, as well as warehouse space for ingredients and packaging. Beyond the kitchen, the SSM Innovation Centre provides business consulting, training, and access to funding programs to help clients scale their operations.
The kitchen operates through The Food Corridor for convenient online booking. All users must complete an orientation and sign a rental agreement before use, hold valid business insurance, and have a Safe Food Handler Certificate. Composting practices are in place to reduce waste and support sustainable operations.
Base price per hour - $25/hr + HST
Silver Plan - 15 hrs - $350+HST
Gold plan - 25 hrs - $575+HST
Platinum plan - 50 hrs - $1,175+HST
