Akron Food Works’ commercially licensed kitchen is available to members 24 hours a day, 7 days a week through the year. From startup to large-scale production, there is space in our kitchen for you!
Your business is your passion. At Akron Food Works, our passion is your success. In addition to kitchen space, we offer business incubation services to help you reach your goals and work through any challenges that may arise. From food safety to operations development to marketing & sales, we are dedicated to supporting you.
A program of The Well CDC, Akron Food Works’ mission is to remove the barriers local food entrepreneurs often encounter as they start and build their food based businesses. It can be challenging to navigate the business licensing and health department requirements food businesses must adhere to. Akron Food Works has the resources to guide you through the process and help you plan for success!

Hourly Rates:
Peak (6am - 8pm) - $19 25/hr
Off-Peak (8pm - 6am) - $16 25/hr
Membership is monthly - plans range from 6 hours to 40 hours. Commissary/Mobile plans start at 12 hours/month.
Akron Food Works also offers food business incubation programs designed to help you in starting or growing your food business.
