Touching The Earth Farm’s Shared Certified Cold Kitchen is a community-centered, solar-powered food production space located in Hawi on Hawai‘i Island. Rooted in regenerative agriculture, our mission is to expand food sovereignty, support local entrepreneurs, and provide an affordable, professional facility where makers can create value-added products in alignment with sustainable, island-minded values.

Our 800 sq ft certified cold kitchen and 200 sq ft dry storage facility are designed to lower barriers for early-stage and growing food businesses. We offer flexible rental options, commercial equipment, technical assistance opportunities, and direct connection to on-site farm resources.

As part of a working 20-acre regenerative orchard, the kitchen uniquely integrates with our farm-to-production pipeline. Users have access to on-site grown seasonal fruits and ingredients at low wholesale rates, supporting cost-effective recipe development and locally rooted products. Our active worm farm (VermiVille) converts kitchen scraps, farm waste, and intakes clean cardboard waste to shred on-site for worm bedding, producing high-quality organic soil amendments used by farmers across North Kohala, closing the loop and reducing environmental impact.

Pricing

Essential Plan – $220/month: includes 10 hours per month at the introductory rate. Hours beyond the minimum are billed at $22/hr.

Flexi-Plus Plan – $500/month: includes 25 hours per month, additional hours at $20/hr.

Premium Plan – $680/month: includes 40 hours per month, extra hours at $17/hr.

One-time hourly use – from $25/hr (subject to availability).
