Operated by Wimberly’s Roots, a Georgia Grown member and nonprofit organization dedicated to combating food insecurity through farm-fresh food and cooking education, the Wimberly’s Roots Community Kitchen offers a fully equipped, certified commercial kitchen for local food entrepreneurs.

This shared-use kitchen supports small business development, promotes community wellness, and strengthens the local food economy. The facility also includes limited equipment to serve as a honey house for local beekeepers, expanding opportunities for honey processing and sustainable agriculture in Northeast Georgia.

* Tilting skillet
* Gas range & grill
* Convection oven
* Cooking Kettle(s)
* Hobart mixer(s)
* Proofer
* Multiple Prep tables

Storage Options: Convenient dry, refrigerated, and frozen storage available for rent.

Permitted Uses
Certified for low-risk, packaged food production, including:
* Baked goods
* Jams, jellies, and preserves
* Candies
* Pickled products
* Dried spices and seasonings
* Select sauces
* Select beverages

Not Permitted
* On-site or direct food service
* Hot meal preparation
* Catering operations
* Food truck use

7 days per week: $20/hr

Minimum Monthly use of kitchen - 3 hours or a $60 minimum use fee
